|So 120 slayer is coming and I like slayer, but I also have my fair share of tasks that quite frankly, I hate. I HATE so many of the high end stuff and I certainly HATE PvM and bossing. I don't use high end gear and also want to stick with monsters I am familiar with.
Each monster with a mask [and I happen to own all the slayer masks released through 2016], can be found under a combat style first, and then a master.
My favorite task is mage based, but my favorite combat style is melee. So there is some give and take. This set allows me to set up a preset where I just switch the helm for what monster I really want and then stay in the same clothes and gear as I use up my masks everyday.
Also please note that the Strykewyrms can only be assigned 1x per each 3 days.
Ice strykewyrms [Fave task] - Fire spells - Movran
Crawling hands - fire spells - Canifis
Gargoyles - Water spells - Movran
Kurasks - air spells - Sumona
Basilisks - air spells - sumona
Ganodermic creatures - Kuradel
Abby demon [silverlight too] - Movran
Dust devils - Kuradel
Cockatrice - Canifis
Jellies - Vannaka
Mutated Jadinko Males - Movran

|As far as trees go:
- Gnome Stronghold
- Falador park
- Prifddinas City (Trahaearn district)
- Gnome Village
- Gnome Stronghold
- Prifddinas City (Meilyr district)
- 3x Spirit trees (Port Sarim, Brimhaven, Ecteria Island)
- Calquat tree (Karamja; Tai Bwo Wannai Village)
- Elder tree (Prifddinas City; Crwys district)
- Crystal tree (Prifddinas City; Tower of Voice)
Elder trees - 23162 each [70 hours to grow]
Magic - 13768 x 6 tree plots = 82,608 xp per 'run'
Calquat - 12,096
Palm tree - 10599 x7 = 73,563 per 'run'
If I did tree rounds 1x per day - thats 1 calquat, 6 tree, 7 fruit tree, thats - 168,297 xp per daily run. It would take apporiximately 1,099 tree runs [or 1,099 days] for 200m farm from 15m xp. This means 1,099 calquat trees, 6,594 magic trees, and 7,693 palm trees would need to be obtained.

|Hey guys! I'm going for 200m Dung. [before you scoff, laugh, or otherwise prepare your 'goodluck noob insults' please note my other 2 200ms, and my dung exp.]
If you are looking for someone to help you get to 99/120/200m dung, you should probably message me.
I decided to write a new blog series about dunging. I was going to write 1 super long blog post, but I figured if I break it up, you will find it an easier read, or if you are searching for something specific, it'll be easier to find.
The First blog will include all of the frequently asked questions about my 200m dungeoneering.
Can you teach me how to dung?
Yes. I'll teach anyone if they seriously do want to learn, are able to follow instructions, and aren't afraid to ask questions. I taught both my parents how to dung. I can teach anyone.
Do you sell floors?
Often, you'll see me hosting s/l [suicide / leecher] floors in world 77. Sometimes duo [2s2l]. I actually don't 'sell floors' in the normal sense.
Normal floor sellers have a friendschat or they sell individually and spam for long hours advertising their prices and times.
I'm not tied to a friendschat, I make no time guarantees, and I only charge for floors if the buyer comes directly to me. I usually make binds for cash if offered that job too. Usually, I key a sui/leech floor because most dungers 'assume' you must be a good keyer to be suiing. Most sui keyers are getting paid for sub 20mins. People who join you are more likely to be faster / know what they're doing / have higher stats / understand the basics of dung / and are also counting on fast floors, meaning they are also committed to putting in their best to speed the floor up.
So, who leeches?
Lower levels that I'm trying to push to max prestige, friends who dung with me for 6+ hours in the average dung weekend day or who have been inconvenienced by my constant pesterings for floors. Keying a floor and allowing them to sit there and do nothing is my way of saying 'thanks for helping me last weekend grind out that last few floors when you were tired.
Why didn't you max first?
I'm not playing Runescape for a max cape. Granted, it would have made the whole 200m dung easier, but I wanted 200m dung more than a max cape, and moreso enough that I'd rather not wait.
Do you have a perm team, and are they going for 200m?
Ha ha ha. Yes. and No.
I have 2 comp capers that lead seperate NZ based teams. Both comp capers want 200m dung. Both teams include an almost maxed member who wants/needs 120 dung, and each team has someone who either wants 99/120 but cba to dung and wouldn't be dunging if we all didn't pester them.
That leaves, of course, me, and 1 open random spot. These spaces are often filled by which friends have what open or a trip to world 77.
UK - I usually key in w77 during uk mornings and daytimes or use this as the best times to teach others about dunging. I also have a friend with a semi perm team that lets me in his open spaces during the uk daytimes.
USA - Afternoons - I tend to be the Keyer and host sui / leech floors in w77. If I say something's okay, then it is, but if I say do something and it doesn't get done, may the full wrath of the powers of the gods wash over you and drown you in a floor so deep that you can never be found. You get the point. I'm usually really friendly and chill and if someone asks a question or makes it clear they are new, then my 'leech' knows the floor's going to be slower.
What sort of Voice Communication Software do you require?
I have a private raidcall channel for dunging, and I use Skype. I'll add anyone to Skype, and if you prove you can work with my team, you may receive an invite to a skype dung group or a raidcall group. These groups, when online, are usually game to dung, with or without me.
Not everyone is required to have/use any of this. But you'll miss out on some jokes and may feel the floor is dominated by me typing lots of commands and thank yous with little response from anyone else.
We *usually* frown at skilling, but some of us who have been with the 'team' long enough are more lax with afking / skilling. We are all 100% able to path, gate, communicate, solve all of the puzzles, and do what we're told. We all also take turns when keying. Some of us will spend my days off dunging for 6-18 hours straight. [On a weekend when I have nothing else to do we can go for 36 hours straight.] I guess you could say, if you can prove to us you can meet our expectations, we'll be more flexible when you wanna cook dinner and dung at the same time.
Will you dung after 200m exp?
Yes! Anyone who puts in the same dedication to helping me reach my goal can count on the support mutually given back. I'll have a use for tokens too so I really won't mind being asked!
Do you have a goal date for 200m?
It's been said that Jamandy52 sets 200m goal dates 5 times. The 5th being the 'real' date.
The first one set is October 23rd 2013.
The second is December 16th 2013.

|I just watched the newest Jagex Video. They were showing the press the new Runescape 3 updates, HTML5, and the new interface. They revealed the new skill as Divination, and had a ton of fun with the media in their awesome castle. From the flags, to the knights on horseback, to Mod Mark reading from a book, to watching the faces of the media as they tested the new changes for Runescape.... all of it, just filled me with such a strange feeling.
This is the video, if you haven't seen it, go experience it for yourself.
I'd like to say I 'grew up' playing Runescape. I wasn't 7 when I started. I wasn't 10. I wasn't even 13. I wasn't 15. I was 16. I would say I grew up playing it still. This fall will be my 5th year on the account Jamandy52, but I had an account before then. I learned more from my RS friends, clan leaders, and the community than I ever did in the world outside.
I have always felt so strange, because really, I think my life started when I was 16. The real me started to come out. Some people considered that self a monster. Some consider that person the nicest and most amazing person they ever met. Some would call me selfish, others would worship the ground I walked on...
I've always had something to prove in my life. Still do. I'm competitive by nature and never back down from a challenge. I still believe I can handle serious gaming, a career and college this fall. In my head I see everyday as a square with little 'blocks' inside, and each block represents sleep, work, college, runescape, and socializing. I see how they all would fit and how it would all totally work. I'm trying to prove that it will now. Not to me, I already see it, but to the bigger world -the one 'out there'.
I recently read a thread about motivation here on runezone, and last week I had the privilege of speaking on balancing real life and runescape. I fully intend to get all skills to 200m and a trimmed comp cape. I'd love to run for president as well, but if I never got farther than campaign manager, that'd be the balance I'd accept.
I wish I could somehow make what I'm saying make sense. After watching that video, I know, more than ever, that I want to continue this maddening goal. I want to do what's right for me. I want to break the 'society says' circle and live outside the box. I don't want to be the next suomi, or zezima, or zarfot. I want to be the FIRST Jamandy52. =')
That's all I want.
Watching that video reminded me of my first account, and when I started runescape, and when I started all over again and why I'll never quit. It reminded me of the first man I truly loved, and of the friends I made. It reminded me of how much life changes. I thought of my uncle and how a year ago when he passed away we'd never have dreamed of the changes we've seen in the last year. I remember staying in Ronld Mcdonald homes for my sisters surgeries. I remember walking away from a career in Radio, I remember having just graduated highschool. I remember so much and who I was back then and I watch how I was building myself up.
The one constant in my life has been Runescape. More than any single friend, person, item, or goal for my life. I'll never quit.
Here's to the next 5 years!

| Today marks an important day for me. I am announcing my decision to go for 200m dungeoneering.
As a player, I have always done what *I* wanted to do, for me. 200m Construction untrimmed and page 1 rank? My goal. 200m Cooking? My goal.
Albeit there was races - some people knew I had it out to beat them, others just happened along. This time it's different. Or is it?
For the past several MONTHS - ever since achieving 200m cook exp, I have been playing the game wrong. [WTF?] I wanted 200m dungy to follow 200m cook. Infact, up until that point, the words "I want 99...." have never been a part of my vocabulary. I always said "[...] 200m exp." After 200m cooking I made a mistake. I stopped doing what *I* wanted. I started doing what 'others' thought I should do.
The game lost its fun, its enjoyment, and its luster, in some areas. The new goal, 'max cape' was boring, and I tried so very hard to change how I said things. Instead of '200m' it was '99'. When asked what 200m next I would respond with 'erm, 99 this and that...*mumble mumble* max cape.... then... 200ms...'
For the last several months, knowing full well a new set of skills were coming out, I watched my friends obtain Max Cape, Comp Cape, and even, Trimmed Comp. Many of them are now playing 07scape. For me, it was like watching everyone else 'go on to college' and leaving me to flip burgers. <--- strange analogy? I think not.
Runescape, for me as a homeschooler, has become in parts, my perception of the 'outer world' - highschool, college, work, etc. I was by no means sheltered, but my life has had so many different experiences than the normal highschoolers I am friends with.
Most of the normal highschoolers I know continue to follow the fast tracked 'society says' way of life. Job, car, companion, graduation, parties, college, kids, marriage [reverse order if you like and multiply each piece by any number you prefer]. Hell, I got bored a couple months back and put into google "What DO 21 year olds DO?] I just wanted to know if I was being... normal.
By age 21, those highschoolers are either waking up and realizing they are going to have to make a change in career, partners, or area of study. They enroll in college or new classes, marry their partner, or focus on starting their ideal career. Their life goes from 'comfortable' to "OHMYGOD I"M OLD!"
The Max cape is like Highschool. Rather than grades there are 99s. Instead of classes, there's clans. There's events, just like RL, there's friends, enemies, relationships, competitions, and deadlines or goal dates.
The Comp Cape, in my humble opinion, is like College. It's for those who want to go on. They learn to master everything in the game, move on to friends who share the same intrests and leave those 'classes' or 'friends' behind in the search to better their RS Career.
The Trimmed Comp Cape is like trying to get additional degrees that aren't needed, but sure look good on a resume. These people want to get everything out of the opportunity and completely enjoy doing these crazy things. They're usually balancing Family and a career in RL, just like advanced college students.
So... those 200mers...?
Well, okay. Remember this is the category I place MYSELF in. To get a 200m is virtual insanity, say many. I see us as the type who may not 'theoretically graduate [max cape]' and college looks pretty "iffy". It''s just not our style.
We may 'drop out' of highschool, or we may graduate, but highschool isn't where our interests lie. We figure college [comp and trimmed comp] will be there later once we've put enough of our 'burger flipping tips' in the bank and if we haven't achieved our diplomas, they'll be obtained with special tests, which in America, are known as GEDS. In Runescape, these are quest or skill lamps with the assorted penguin point thrown in.
Now, please take a step back. We all know not to criticize Joe Average, online or off, for how they choose to live their life. Everyone has goals, be it to experience life as a burger flipper, win a gold medal, or just to be a good parent someday. The reason, however that I laid this out, was to show you another perspective. Some of us, just aren't interested in the goals of society or how a popular life choice for others isn't right for us.
Back to my 200m dung goal.
I've tried to figure out 'why' I should add in all these extra 'classes' I don't want into my highschool career, or even why I should graduate. I know I want to graduate, I just want to do it MY WAY. I respect anyone who wants to go for all As and honours, just like I respect Max Capers and Comp Capers. It's just not for me.
Instead, I would rather be flipping burgers from noon to 5 everyday. Some people call this grinding . I enjoy repeating the same task over and over again. I enjoy knowing 'how long I must keep at it' and 'when I can stop'. I enjoy the people I interact with in the day to day workplace and the customers.
Every so often, I'll go to a 'class' or try something new, because everyone wants a 'vacation' from work once in a while.
Over the past several weeks, I have analyzed the 'peer pressure' around me in this highschool. I want to graduate [max cape], but I want to do it when I want to, not for my classmates, not for the school, not for anyone else, but for me.
I'm not maxxed, I no longer care to 'hurry up and max so I can do what I really want to', I want to enjoy my life right now.
My name is Luke. In RL I don't flip burgers, but I don't go to college either. I do what I love.
P.S. Thanks to My family, my friends, the over 50 clans that have 'put up with me' over the years my dungmates, my maxed/comped/trimmed/200mer friends, the fansites and clansites that offer tips, support, and communities, and finally, Louise. You guys [especially Louise] have helped me see things as they really are, and have encouraged me to follow MY dreams.
I love you all!

|Advice for Anyone getting their first 200m.
This was originally posted on my home clan's clan site May 1st 2012 by me, Jamandy52 [Luke]. I decided to re post it to encourage others in their goals.
This blog is aimed specifically at those getting their first 200m, but some who have more may find it handy too. Please feel free to ask questions + post your own experiences.
My First 200m was construction. Like most people that play Runescape, paper hats did not fall from the sky and grant my dreams of having the cash to achieve my goal. My reasons for choosing the construction skill was the love for the cape + emote, the way I felt when I trained, the way it, literally calmed me, and the fictitious sense of safety I had.
In the beginning, I never actually saw myself reaching the dream. It was, rather large. In fact, I had the personality of someone who could talk big, and prove problematically how "possible" it was 'on paper', but very few of the people I knew even believed I could achieve the goal. I realized inside, I needed this goal to prove to myself I could really do it.
The beginning is always the hardest part. If you don't have 99 yet - start by focusing your goals on that. After 99, that's the first 13m! Congrats! Only need to do that 15.3 times. And Now the grind begins!
Chances are of course that at 99 you can train the skill A LOT faster than if you were starting fresh from level 1 again. So let's look at how to train.
One of my fellow Elites, Mizzou, warned me that in the case of construction, if I went to mahogany too soon, I would feel the need to go all the way on mahogany as oak would suddenly feel even slower than they actually were.
A lot of skills have cheaper, and expensive varieties, others do not, so this information may seem completely irrelevant to you. I saved my mahogany planks for bonus experience weekends, competitions, and when I needed to power thru a goal really quick - IE 50m + 100m con parties
If you can tolerate the slower / cheaper method and it doesn't hurt your "time" very much, do it for as long as possible.
Obtaining the Cash
I was not a rich player, but I did learn how to merch, and I merched pretty well, I think. A friend joined an exclusive merching community. This was not a clan, nor did they tell you to buy items at a certain price and sell it. This community wrote letters every week, almost daily videos of quick flips that worked and posted right away while they still worked, as well as hands on guides to reading and understanding the GE graphs.
This friend sent me a lot of the graphs and videos and posted questions I had within their community regarding certain items, as well as worked with me on merches to help with buy limits, etc.
This is actual merching ^
v This is price manipulation.
I also looked at all those GE spamming ad bots for merch clans, and started joining their clans every week - I made a massive calendar of when the items changed and what their dump dates were. I found patterns where clan A would buy out what clan F dumped the week before in a continual pattern of GE abuse. I learned to work out who would do what and when to buy out and dump for some successful little profits.
Eventually, I assumed the best way of making cash was to run a price manipulation clan. This idea lasted about 2 days before guilt brought me to the realization that I couldn't do it. For me, knowingly 'scamming' or taking advantage of someone's "stupidity" and making millions under the pretense of 'teaching them to merch' was wrong.
It was a very long time before I could bring myself to even return to actual merching again, and by then Jagex had banned the merch clans.
I wound up joining a "school" and taking a class on moneymaking. I had my dreams but wasn't even 99 yet. In that class, I learned to read the GE in a totally DIFFERENT way. I started looking for items I could buy, process, and turn into gold. I also learned to hardcore gather stuff for HOURS - white berries, how I will always love thee.
Pre-free trade, I always MADE money on summoning or herblore. My friends whined it cost money and I would just laugh.
Finally, I was ready for construction. I didn't have all the money at once, and lord knows how I hated sc.... if it wasn't for 1elitesc I would never have survived this goal, and probably never gotten 99.
I started buying little things - oak logs. I learned to run them myself, and then I learned to stop buying oak logs and buy oak planks. I found I made more cash and combat experience killing stuff from slayer, or mining stars and lrc in the same time it took to make the planks for less. I always cut evil trees and cut oak logs and willows for the balloons.
So I never really had all the cash at once until 120m experience. Let's face the facts: it's EASY to blow money in runescape. But if you buy what you really want, literally 1 gp at a time, you WILL BANK YOUR ENTIRE GOAL.
Motivation to train
It's easy to "want" something, but how bad do you want it?
I wanted 200m construction AND page 1 so bad it hurt. I wanted it TOO BADLY, if I was to be totally honest. When I had steady pay, I was looking at certain "websites." In the end I NEVER reduced myself to rwt OR plank making on noobs to trade over. My 200m was legit and it is something to be proud of. The reason I'm sharing this is because I know how it feels.
- I know how it feels to watch people bot, account share, and cheat their way to the top
-I know how it feels to watch people scam and hack their 'friends' just to get ahead
-I know how it feels to not feel "good enough" until you reach that goal
-I know how it feels to watch them get away with it all, even to this day
-And finally I know how it feels to wonder why you should care if it's legit or not
I also know this:
-I know how it feels to have reached the top
-I know how it feels to be honest
-I know how it feels to feel weakness and gain strength from it
-I know how it feels to pour your entire being into a goal and the sense of achievement at the end
-I know how it feels to laugh my ass off at cheaters being banned and knowing that will NEVER be me.
So, if you are thinking you need to RWT to get there, think again. It's not about how big the mountain is, It's the climb.
I set small goals, I try to break personal records, But it's still not enough. I don't feel inspired to keep moving.
We've all been there. I found myself challenging my friends, and that worked for awhile. For me it also brought hostility among friends and clanmates. I don't believe in losing, and I never give up when there's a competition I want to win at all costs. Finally I started competing with people I DIDN'T know. This way no one had that pressure and I didn't suffer undo tension between friends.
I created trackers with myself and up to 500 other people training the same skill. Sometimes they were everyone between a certain rank bracket, [200 - 600] or they were everyone a certain experience and above, and sometimes they were people below me, for various... reasons.
I looked up the players who had maxed the skill before me, found guides and compared exp rates. My motivation was in trying to see if I could do it better and faster than the best.
The final push
Maybe you just need an extra nudge. You're within sights, you can taste it. TAKE A BREAK.
Know how and when to pace yourself. Setting goals and driving yourself to the point of passing out will not help. Get some rest, train a new skill, re-assosciate with those other beings in your house for a day. You'll find it a healthy break and a refreshing way to return to the grind.
Finally - party it up! Maybe invite some friends, everyone you know, have a drop party, or grab the nearest Jmod.
Whatever you do, make sure it's not only what YOU want it be, fun, exciting, and special but make it memorable. Unless you're a certain friend of mine, you only get 200m in a skill once.
This is Luke, signing out. Good luck!

After this was posted, I released an interview on YouTube. It's not the best quality, but this closed, for me, the chapter of my life known as Construction. My channel is Jamandy52 if you want to search the video.
