Witch's House
Description:
A young boy who lives in Taverley has kicked his ball into the garden of a scary old lady. He asks you to get it back for him. This proves more difficult than it first sounds.

The Witch's House

Speak to the boy outside the Witch's House to start the quest. Once you've done that, you will need to figure a way of getting inside the house. Go up to the main door of the house and look under some plant pots until you find a key to use for the door.

Now use your key you've found with the door to get inside the house. Now go upstairs into the bedroom of the house and take the diary in there. Start reading it. You can just flick through the pages if you like so that you can continue with the quest.

Now go back downstairs onto the floor wit the door entrance. Then go downstairs again and you should find yourself in a basement. Now go through a metal gate in there and search some cupboards for a magnet.

Now go and enter a little room which should be between the one you entered and the garden of the witch. You will now need to put your leather gloves on you've brought. Now make sure you don't accidentally eat your cheese at this part. Use your cheese with the little mouse hole in the corner of the room. Once you've done that, quickly use your magnet you've found with the mouse.

The Garden

Now you should be able to go into the garden. Go inside there. (Keep in mind that you must keep watching the witch on your map so that you know where she is and you don't get caught) Keep walking and if she is getting close to you, stop and stay behind the hedges so that she can't see you. To be successful, make sure that you stay next the centre of the hedge like the middle of it.

Keep using this method until you get near to the end of the garden and at a shed door. Go and try to open it. You should find it locked. Now use the same method to get back but to the fountain in the garden. Keep staying hidden until you get to the fountain.

Search the fountain. Something should be said after you do this. Flick through the pages of your diary again. Once you've done that, search the fountain again. You should get a key and if you don't, try to open the shed door again and then flick through the diary. This time it should work.

Head back for the shed door again using the hiding method from the witch and try to open the door. Now this is the part you should get prepared for. Go in and try to take the ball and then the witches experiment will start to attack you.

The Experiment

If you choose to leave the shed at this time, remember that you will have to start the battle all over again. Make sure during the fight that you have good food, good armour and a great weapon and you should be able to defeat the experiment. Remember, it comes in 4 forms so when you kill it first, it will change into a higher creature. Refer to the list below:

  • 1st form: Level 19 Experiment
  • 2nd form: Level 30 Spider
  • 3rd form: Level 42 Bear
  • 4th and final form: Level 53 Wolf

When you defeat the experiment, grab the ball and sneak back into the house and outside. Now give the ball back to the boy.
