K'ril Tsutsaroth is located inside Zamorak's Boss Room in God Wars Dungeon. and has a reputation for being the easiest boss in the dungeon. For this reason, the items he drops aren't amazing but they can still make you a fair penny.
K'ril Tsutsaroth Attacks
K'ril Tsutsaroth uses standard attacks in the form of melee and magic. His normal attacks don't carry any special abilities although there is a chance of being poisoned by K'ril unless wearing a piece of 'Subjugation' gear dropped by K'ril. If the use of protection prayers are used or curses such as soul split, K'ril will use his special attack which will drain your prayer as well as hitting a high amount of damage around 2000-5000 damage, which can be halved by using the Debilitate ability.
K'ril Tsutsaroth is located inside God Wars Dungeon (once inside, the Zamorak area is north of the entrance). You will be required to have 60 Agility/Strength to access the actual dungeon as you need to get past a boulder. To access Zamoraks Area you will be required to have level 70 Constitution (and atleast 700HP). Your prayer will be drained upon entering the Zamorak area.
The easiest way to get to the God Wars Dungeon would be via Trollheim, but you can get there using other methods if required.
- Red Route: Using Trollheim teleport.
- Orange Route: Traveling from Burthorpe.
- Run from Varrock (not shown on the map)
Killing K'ril Tsutsaroth
When you choose to kill the K'ril Tsutaroth, you should be prepared for a rather tough fight at first, but it gets easier.
To produce optimum damage, we recommend the following levels, but you can change these if you need too.
- 95 Magic (Fire Surge)
- 70 Defense (Ganodermic)
- 92 Prayer (Soul Split)
- 60 Agility/Strength (Access to GWD)
- 70 Constitution (Access to Zammy)
We also recommend the following equipment and inventory setup. Remember - You are in a very dangerous place, if you die you may lose your items.
- Head: Virtus mask > Ganodermic Visor
- Amulet: Saradomins Hiss > Fury
- Cape: Any Skill Cape
- Body: Virtus Robe Top > Ganodermic Poncho
- Legs: Virtus Robe Legs > Ganodermic Leggings
- Gloves: Virtus Gloves > Ganodermic Gloves
- Boots: Virtus Boots > Ganodermic Boots
- Shield: None (Two handed staff)
- Weapon: Chaotic Staff > Staff of Light
- Ammo: Zamorak Arrow
- Ring: Seers ring(i) for combat boost or Ring of Wealth for improved drop chances
In your inventory, you are going to want to have a combination of Sharks and Super Restore (or prayer potions). If you have Soul Split then you will not need much food and will need to bring a lot more in terms of prayer restore. You will also need to bring Fire and Air Runes (We recommend 10k each), a Vecna skull (magic boost) and .
Getting Kill Count:
You will need to kill 40 Zamorak followers before you are able to access the boss room. It's recommended that you kill these in Zamorak's Fortress rather than in the general area of God Wars Dungeon as you don't want to be attacked by any other NPCs.
The fastest way to get Kill Count is to kill the imps, and then world hop using the 'join' feature on your friends list.
The Imps have no requirements to kill them, and they are only level 7 therefore we highly recommend you kill them for Kill Count.
Spiritual Warrior require 68 Slayer to kill them, and although they are melee based they attack with a magic attack while at a long distance.
Spiritual Warrior require 63 Slayer to kill them, but they are range based and therefore we don't recommend you kill them.
Spiritual Mages require 83 Slayer to kill them, and they are magic based and therefore we don't recommend you kill them.
Werewolves do not require a Slayer level to kill them, but they are melee based and therefore we recommend that you kill them.
Vampyres do not require a Slayer level to kill them, but they are melee based and therefore we recommend that you kill them.
Bloodvelds require 50 Slayer to kill them, but they are melee based and therefore we recommend that you kill them.
Goraks do not require a Slayer level to kill them, but they are melee based and therefore we recommend that you kill them.
Hellhounds do not require a Slayer level to kill them, but they are melee based and therefore we recommend that you kill them.
Generally, the fight is very easy. If you are soloing it is advised to use protect from magic or range over the use of Soul Split (curses). If going with a friend or a group, it is advised to use Soul Split (if you have it unlocked) as the damage done to you can be out healed (this will only happen with high magic and the use of extremes/overloads) . He has a special attack that will hit you or anyone in the boss room and will hit you even if you are using a protection prayer.
The abilities you should use are pretty simple: Wrack, Impact, Combust, Chain, Dragon Breath, Anticipation, Asphyxiate, Wild Magic, Metamorphosis, Regenerate,
Soul Split, and Prayer Potion.
If you happen to die whilst fighting K'ril Tsustsaroth then your grave will appear within the K'ril Tsutsaroth boss waiting room of God Wars dungeon. Even though your grave will not spawn in the main boss room, you still need to get 40 Kill Count to enter the waiting room and retrieve your items.
The drops from K'ril Tsutaroth are very good, but it'll be hard to make a profit unless you receive a special drop. He is most known for dropping items such as the Robes of Subjugation set (a total of 6 items), Zamorak Hilt, Godsword Shards (3), Zamorak Spear and Steam Battlestaff. K'ril also drops the Severed Hoof which unlocks the K'ril Tinyroth pet. Chances of obtaining it increases as your tracked number of K'ril Tsutsaroth kills increases.
